Sacramento, California, welcomed WWE for its final Monday Night Raw before Wrestlemania. With Saturday and Sunday's match cards announced, last night's show ramped up the excitement for the Showcase of the Immortals.
Gunther promised he would defeat Jey Uso.

Raw opened with the World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, who seemed to have a fire lit under him after his opponent at Wrestlemania, Jey Uso, told him he wasn't afraid anymore. Gunther stormed to the ring and snatched the microphone away from Michael Cole, who was trying to interview him. "The Ring General" cut his best promo since his debut on the main roster, as he told the crowd he was the greatest gift the company had ever received.
Gunther continued by stating for 80% of his time in the company, he had been a champion with his reigns as United Kingdom Champion, current World Heavyweight Champion, and his record-breaking 666 days as Intercontinental Champion. He claimed he was the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time and refused to let somebody like Jey Uso ruin it for him. Gunther said that Uso couldn't lace his boots and he would put him down for a fourth consecutive time as in 37 years of his life, he has never lost control. After mentioning bathing in Jimmy Uso's blood two weeks ago, Gunther slammed the mic on the mat and left the arena.
Bayley Def. Liv Morgan

Before their Women's Tag Team Title clash at Wrestlemania Sunday, Liv Morgan met Bayley with both their tag team partners at ringside. Morgan worked over Bayley with some kicks in the early stages of the match, but Bayley came back with a Thesz Press along with some punches. The two went back and forth with stiff strikes and suplexes before Bayley charged at Morgan on the floor. The Tag Champion stopped her attempt with a forearm and hit two vertical suplexes. Bayley stopped the third and sent her into the steel steps before Morgan turned it around with a stalling suplex off the steel steps to complete the Three Amigos.
Liv Morgan was in control of the contest before Bayley countered with a knee to the nose. Both women traded roll-ups before Bayley hit a running knee and a sunset flip Buckle Bomb for a two-count. Morgan countered Bayley with a Codebreaker, getting another two-count, before delivering a knee to the head. Morgan jumped off the top rope, but Bayley caught her with a Stunner, before executing the Bayley to Belly and went for the cover. Raquel Rodriguez placed Liv’s foot on the bottom rope, and the referee stopped the count. Intercontinental Champion, Lyra Valkyria, went after Rodriguez, but she was met with a Big Boot. Bayley hit Rodriguez with a neckbreaker as she tried to enter the ring, but with her distracted, Morgan hit a Backstabber. Liv Morgan went for Oblivion, but Valkyria helped Bayley by holding onto her while the referee was getting Raquel out of the ring. Bayley pulled out a jackknife pin to steal the victory and build momentum for Wrestlemania.
Rey Mysterio Def. Julius Creed

Before his Wrestlemania Saturday match with El Grande Americano, Rey Mysterio battled American Made's Julius Creed in Creed's first singles match on Monday Night Raw. With Wrestlemania 41 being Mysterio's 13th, the Luchador wanted to build as much momentum as possible before The Show of Shows. Creed's power advantage was on show early on as he ran over Mysterio with a shoulder tackle and a clothesline for a two-count. Both men were accompanied by the L.WO. and American Made, respectively, but referee Chad Patton ejected everybody from ringside when chaos broke out.
Creed stayed in control of Mysterio before Rey countered him with a hurricanrana, which sent him out of the ring. Mysterio went for a baseball slide under the bottom rope, but Creed caught him before impressively holding Mysterio up in a suplex position and walked him up the steps. Julius charged at Mysterio, but Rey moved, and Creed ran into the ring post-shoulder-first. Mysterio countered Creed into a DDT as the fans chanted, “This is awesome”. Mysterio looked to be in control before his opponent for Wrestlemania, El Grande Americano, appeared on the apron in an attempt to distract him. Mysterio shoved Creed into El Grande Americano and drop-kicked him into the ropes. Mysterio hit the 619 and a Splash for the pinfall win.
After the match, El Grande Americano took out Rey Mysterio. The L.W.O came back out for the save, but they were no match for the man from "The Gulf of America". Americano had a small piece of metal in his mask, which was revealed later in the show, as he scaled the ropes and delivered a diving headbutt to Mysterio.
AJ Styles Def. Karrion Kross

AJ Styles and Karrion Kross had multiple backstage altercations over the past few weeks, and with Styles looking forward to his match on Wrestlemania Sunday with Logan Paul, Kross attempted to derail the "Phenomenal One's" momentum. The "Harbinger of Doom" dominated in the early stages as he hit an overhead suplex. Styles hit a dropkick followed by a baseball slide kick, which sent Kross into the barricade. Kross sent Styles over the barricade at ringside before getting back in the ring, delivering a suplex and applying a chin lock.
Kross lifted Styles onto his shoulders and hit The Final Prayer for a near fall. Styles answered back with a kick to the right leg, which tripped Kross as he complained to the referee he was hurt. However, it was all a ruse as Kross got back up and nailed Styles with a forearm. Styles came back with a forearm, back fist and a sliding forearm. Kross went for a forearm, and Styles avoided it as he slammed Kross with a neckbreaker. Styles springboarded off the top rope and hit a Phenomenal Forearm for the victory.
After the match, "The Maverick" Logan Paul entered the building. Paul congratulated Styles on his victory before showing a promotional video of himself. Styles was not impressed, as he told Paul to get in the ring so the Sacramento crowd could get a taste of their match at Wrestlemania. Karrion Kross attacked Styles from behind; he fought back with punches to both Kross and Paul, but "The Maverick" punched Styles in the face and delivered the Paulverizer to stand tall.
Jey Uso vowed to make Wrestlemania into YeetMania!

The Royal Rumble winner, "Main Event" Jey Uso, made his entrance through the crowd as Sacramento were yeeting everywhere. Uso stood on the announce table and told producers to play his music one more time as the entire arena erupted in cheers. Uso finally spoke to the crowd as he told them he was crashing out, but he’s locked in for him, his family and the fans. Uso said Gunther is mad he’s going to whoop his ass in front of 60,000 for the World Heavyweight Championship on WrestleMania Saturday.
Penta and Finn Balor's match ended in a DQ.

Wrestlemania Sunday sees the Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, defend his title in a fatal-4-way match against Penta, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. Two of the competitors, Finn Balor and Penta met in a match six days before the show. Penta kicked Balor off the apron and hit a somersault dive over the top. They came back in the ring, where Penta landed a cross-body block off the top rope. Penta was in control before Balor got some offence in, rolling through a sunset flip attack and hitting a low dropkick. Balor turned it around with a Penta attack on the apron, leading to a reverse DDT.
Balor dominated, hitting a running elbow smash and another reverse DDT for a near fall.
He set Penta up on the top turnbuckle and hit a superplex for another near fall. Penta hit a running hurricanrana, followed by two clotheslines and a superkick. He jumped over Balor, which led to a Backstabber for a near fall. Penta hit a hurricanrana off the top rope before a Slingblade. Balor answered back with his own Slingblade before Penta hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Penta delivered The Sacrifice and went for the Penta Driver, but Balor countered.
Carlito and Dominik Mysterio showed up at ringside, so Balor used the distraction to his advantage, rolling Penta up for two-count. Balor hit a running dropkick into the turnbuckle before beginning to climb the ropes. He was stopped in his tracks by Bron Breakker’s music, as Breakker ran down to the ring. Breakker was attacked backstage by The Judgement Day during an interview earlier on in the show. He nailed Balor with a clothesline, and the referee called for the bell, ending the match in a disqualification.
The brawl was on as Carlito and Dominik Mysterio attacked Breakker from behind. He fought back and hit a double Spear on both men before lining up Penta. Penta countered the Spear attempt with a superkick and sent Breakker to the floor. Penta lept off the top rope and took out all the men on the floor as he stood tall before Wrestlemania.
Seth Rollins stomps CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

Throughout the show, Paul Heyman had been backstage waiting for the arrival of "The Tribal Cheif" Roman Reigns. CM Punk came to sit with Heyman as he looked lonely, but as they were talking, Reigns finally arrived and looked disgusted. He made his way to the ring with Heyman behind him as he asked Sacramento, why would anyone betray me? He asked Heyman why he betrayed him for CM Punk and doesn't understand why he was getting screwed. Heyman told Reigns he was not being disloyal, he was just paying off a favour that he owed.
Seth Rollins made his entrance as the fans sang his theme song back to him. Rollins told Reigns that their triple-threat match would be the most important in Wrestlemania history as it would pave the future path for the company. He said the winner can't be Reigns as he never turns up to work, and it can't be Punk as he doesn't want people to take their ball and go home when it gets tough. Rollins called Heyman a scumbag and said a favour is not done by chance, it's done by choice and Reigns needs to think about why he chose Punk over him. Reigns said to Heyman that he had made his choice and shoved Rollins before sending him shoulder-first into the ring post. Heyman smiled and acknowledged "The Tribal Chief", but Reigns shoved Heyman, which sent him to the floor.
All the chaos brought out CM Punk who brawled with Reigns before checking on Heyman. But as he turned around, Reigns nailed him with a Spear. As Roman turned his attention back to Heyman, Rollins drove a chair into his back, before delivering The Stomp to both Punk and Reigns. Seth Rollins stood tall before their match at Wrestlemania Saturday as the show went off the air.
